Hello Everyone,

I am MWAKA MUKENGE Serge, the CEO of Food for Life in DR Congo.

Since 2021, Food for Life has been making healthy oatmeal for malnourished children from displaced families in South Kivu, DR Congo, due to war.

For those who may not know, in the DR Congo, particularly in the eastern region, there is a significant conflict imposed to us by our neighbors due to our natural resources. The population of North Kivu has been displaced far and wide.

As in its tradition, Food For Life celebrates its anniversary each year by sharing the joy with the less fortunate. This year, we have chosen to celebrate with the children displaced by war in refugee camps. Every contribution matters to make this day truly unforgettable for these children.

2021년부터 Food for Life는 전쟁으로 인해 남부 키부에서 고향 떠날 수밖에 없었던 아이들과 가족들을 위해 건강한 오트밀을 만들고 있어요.

콩고민주공화국(DR콩고), 특히 동부 지역에서는 천연자원을 둘러싼 갈등이 이웃 국가들에 의해 계속되고 있어요. 이로 인해 북키부 지역의 많은 주민들은 고향을 떠나야만 합니다. 이런 어려운 상황 속에서도 Food for Life는 매년 창립 기념일을 맞아 도움이 필요한 이들과 기쁨을 나누는 특별한 전통을 이어오고 있는데요. 올해는 전쟁으로 인해 난민 캠프에서 생활하는 아이들과 함께 이 소중한 날을 기념하고자 합니다.
