Bendito grew up in a rural village in Timor-Leste, always riding his best friend, his motorbike. He used his motorbike to travel across wide fields to get to school. Bendito also helped local farmers with their work and sometimes lent his motorbike to them when theirs broke down.
One day, on his way to school, he heard that a farmer he often met couldn’t take his crops to the market because his motorbike had broken down. The farmer had bought a cheap, used motorbike but didn’t know how to fix it and didn’t have the money to repair it. In the end, he borrowed Bendito’s motorbike and rushed to the market, but by the time he arrived, the market had already closed. The farmer had to return home without selling any of the crops he had worked so hard to harvest.
This wasn’t just a problem for farmers. One day, Bendito noticed that his best friend from school suddenly stopped coming to class. The reason was simple. His friend’s motorbike, which he used to travel 10km to school every day, had broken down. Because of the poor conditions in the rural area, there was no way to repair it, and his friend couldn’t afford the repair costs. During an important time before exams, his friend had to miss several days of school and ended up failing a key test. Seeing this, Bendito realized how much a working motorbike can impact a student’s future.
“I don’t want farmers or students to miss work or school just because their motorbike breaks down. That’s why I’m starting Samda Moto Solution—to help people fix their motorbikes easily and keep doing what matters most to them without worry.”
Samda Moto Solution will provide fast and affordable motorbike repair services for farmers and local residents. This will help farmers transport their crops to the market on time and earn money without worrying about their motorbikes breaking down. Local residents will also be able to fix their motorbikes quickly, allowing them to work smoothly and live more stable lives. Bendito wants to reduce the problems and losses caused by broken motorbikes and create a safer Timor-Leste where no one has to worry about transportation issues.
Samda Moto Solution also provides a mobile motorbike repair service for students who live far from school.
